Sacraments! Gods Generous Life & Grace

From the Desk of Father Mark, 21st Sunday in Ordinary Time

My Dear People,

Sacraments! Gods Generous Life & Grace

Summer is quickly drawing to a close. Time seems to going by more quickly these days. Our Gospel reminds us that God's time is on our side. We share sacred time with God everytime we encounter Him in one of the seven sacraments. A SACRAMENT is a sign instituted by Christ to give us His Divine Life and Grace. How generous God is to us. There are "7" sacraments, all mitigate sin and strengthen our Faith.

Holy Eucharist is the sacrament that we all encounter most frequently. Jesus comes to us in His Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity each Eucharist. Frequent confession prepares us to receive Him worthily. We have the confirmation in Matthew's Gospel today. Peter received the KEYS to the Kingdom, that unlock the grace for us. "Whose sins you forgive, they are forgiven them..." The Catholic Church is the only Apostolic Church who still practices this belief. If it has been since Christmas or Easter since you have gone to Holy Confession, take some time to do so soon. Jesus waits for us in His Confessional.

May we joyfully return to Our Lord a fair and grateful portion of the many gifts God has given to us.

Entrusting you to the care of Our Lady,
Fr. Mark
