The Eucharist is the Heart of the Church
The source and summit of our Catholic Faith is the Most Holy Eucharist. Without this special presence of Jesus in every tabernacle of the world, our Churches would be mere "prayer houses". We are privileged to have Jesus waiting for us in the Tabernacle. The Eucharist is at the heart of our Church life. Our Lord is the Holy Bread come down from Heaven. He longs to fill our hearts and souls.
We remember, every year at this time, that Jesus comes to live with us. The closer we draw into the mystery of the Eucharist, the closer we come to the heart of God our Father in Heaven. Until He comes again, Jesus leads us from His Eucharistic Heart. From the womb, His first tabernacle, He longs to heal us. Frequent Confession properly disposes our souls to receive the maximum benefit of the great grace. Make good use of both graces, Confession and Eucharist, to ready your soul for eternity. These are keys to our salvation in Christ.
Through the Eucharist, may we find the nourishment and strength to live as Good Christian Stewards.
Entrusting you to the care of Our Lady,
Fr. Mark
